William Tignor was born about 1640 in Virginia to William Tignor and Barbery.
He married Katherine about 1664 in Virginia. She died prior to 1685 and three children were born to the marriage. He second married Anne about 1684 in Virginia and four children were born to this marriage. He was a Churchwarden of Fairfields Parish in June, 1684. He died about 1702 in Northumberland County, Virginia. His place of burial is unknown.
