[141] I William Jennings of Washington County Va. do make this my last will and testament in manner form following.
!st It is my will and devise that afte my debts and funeral expenses is paid that the rest of my property both real and personal and in the possesion of my with Mary Jennings during her life.
2nd It is futher my will that at the death of my wife that the personal properties that maybe in her possession at that time be sold and the proceeds equally divided among my eight children.

3rd It is my will that at t he death of my wife my tract of land go into the full and entire possession of my son William for which he, William shall pay to each of my daughters a horse beast worth 65.00 with the same to be paid in five years after the death of my wife.
4th It is my with that my friend John Snead settle up and adjust my unsettled business.
5th And lastly I do appoint this to be my last will and testament given under my hand seal this 8th day fo December A. D. 1836 singned sealed and delivered.
